IBAG's 75th Anniversary.

Founded in 1941 as 'Industrie-Bedarfs AG' (IBAG) today the company is one of th leading manufacturer of High Performance Motor Spindles for cutting industry.

When Urs G. Waldvogel took control in the 1970s IBAG specialised on trading with grinding equipment and accessories for metal cutting industry.

Beyond the classic application of high speed direct drives for grinding IBAG started soon with further development on the technology to offer high power motor spindles for mould and die industry.

By using modern high frequency motor technology, powerful ball bearings and introducing an ATC with high repeat accuracy since the 1980s IBAG became an important technology carrier and is until today a pioneer for High Speed Cutting (HSC).
